Growing in Faith

At New Hope Vineyard, we want you to be able to take that “Next Step” in growing in your Faith. Check out the following options to see what seems to suite you best!

The Alpha Course: An 11 Week course discussing the basics of the Christian faith. Each class builds on the previous week and includes dinner, video about the topic, and a discussion time. No question is off limits! Alpha is a great way to ask the questions you’ve always wondered about and meet new people as well! There will be an opportunity to join a small group at the end of the course.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at Pontifex in the Fall and Spring. Call the church office (419) 334-4693 to register for the next class. Childcare is also available by preregistering.

Outreach Opportunities – Get involved in the various monthly outreach opportunities sponsored by the Vineyard. From delivering groceries to needy families, to various kindness outreaches, the entire family can join in blessing others in our community. Our desire is to show the love of Jesus in a practical way!  See the church calendar of events for exact dates.

Home Groups and other small group opportunities Visit and join one of the small groups available during the week.

Sunday Night Series “Experiencing The Kingdom”: Periodically there are Sunday Night series that include everything from extended worship time to teaching on prayer, healing and the prophetic.  Updates will be on the calendar or home page for what the current series is.

Discipleship Classes

Discipleship classes are offered quarterly for more in depth teaching on several topics. These classes are intended for those who have completed Alpha and are generally held on the Second Saturday of the month from 9-12.

Vineyard 101 - This is the first discipleship class dealing with how the Vineyard views the church in our culture today.  How we view our role in the culture, and the Kingdom of God.  Looking at the reasons someone becomes a member of the church today.

Vineyard 201 Classes :

• Healing 1 – Vineyard Prayer Model Training. Find out more about how to effectively pray for healing in others and why we don’t always see our prayers answered.
• Spiritual Disciplines class – Find out more about the Spiritual Disciplines of prayer, bible reading, fasting and others and their use in growing closer to God.

Vineyard 301 Classes:

• Healing 2 – Learn more about emotional and demonic healing. Healing 1 is a pre-requisite for this class.
• Spiritual Gifts Class – Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Are you effective in using your gifts? This class is designed to unlock some of the ways to become more effective in using your gifts. The NCD “Three Colors of Ministry” book is used in this seminar at a nominal cost.
Introduction to Leadership- Learn how to get involved in leadership at the Vineyard, from leading a home group to starting a new ministry.  Find out what is involved!

Vineyard 401 Classes:

• Mission Trips: Get involved in one of the mission trips, in or outside the US, as offered.  Trips are announced as they become available through the church.
• VBI –Vineyard Bible Institute

Vineyard Bible Institute has many available courses for Students who want to go deeper at their own pace. Check out vbivc.org for more information.

• VLI – Vineyard Leadership Institute

The Fremont Vineyard participates in Vli when we have two or more interested students. This Tuition based at-a-distance program is for those who sense God calling them to an even greater leadership role in the church, whether as a volunteer or as a profession.
